The Arab Foundation for Freedoms and Equality and M-Coalition are pleased to announce the merger of the two entities as of February 2019. This decision was taken following several months of discussions and consultations with AFE’s Board members and M-Coalition’s Steering Committee members, and was finally put into place in January 2019.
AFE, who has hosted M-Coalition in Lebanon for the past 5 years, will be now integrate the latter as part of its programs with M-Coalition becoming the health department at AFE MENA.
However, taking into consideration the identity of M-Coalition that is well-known in the Middle-East and North Africa region and globally, M-Coalition will preserve its visual identity and its programming methodology. M-Coalition’s current visual identity has been modified to keep the original identity but integrate that of AFE by replacing the black with AFE blue and replacing “mena region” by “afe mena” as per logo above.
This decision serves both AFE and M-Coalition’s common interests in the merger, on the administrative and financial levels. It will facilitate the implementation of M-Coalition projects in the MENA region as well as provide a new entry point to AFE on equality through health programming. The merger is also an important statement on the common values both entities believe in and encourage among their partners and friends.
تتشرف المؤسسة العربية للحريات والمساواة و تحالف م بإعلان دمج المؤسستين إعتباراً من شباط / فبراير 2019. إتُخذ هذا القرار بعد عدة أشهر من المشاورات والنقاشات مع المجلس التنفيذي للمؤسسة العربية وأعضاء اللجنة التوجيهية لتحالف م وتم وضع القرار قيد التنفيذ إعتباراً من ك2 / يناير 2019.
إستضافت المؤسسة العربية للحريات والمساواة تحالف م لخمسة أعوام وتقوم اليوم بإدماج التحالف كجزأً من برامجها حيث يصبح تحالف م قسم الصحّة في المؤسسة.
وبالأخذ بعين الإعتبار هوية تحالف م المعروفة جيداً في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وعالمياً، فسيحافظ تحالف م على الهوية البصريّة والمنهجية في تطبيق البرامج. إلا انّه تم تعديل بسيط على اللوغو لإدماج هوية المؤسسة العربية فيه بإستبدال كلمة “منطقة المينا” ب “AFE MENA” كما يظهر في اللوغو اعلاه.
يخدم هذا الدمج المصالح المشتركة لكلا المؤسستين بالأخص على الصعيدين الإداري والمالي. سيسهل الدمج تنفيذ برامج تحالف م في المنطقة كما يفتح آفاقاً جديدة في مجال المساواة للمؤسسة العربية من خلال البرامج الصحيّة. إن الدمج بيان مهم حول القيم المشتركة التي يؤمن بها كل من المؤسستين ويشجعان عليها بين الشريكات والشركاء.
